Style Diaries: Back to the Beginning

The idea behind these style diaries is to start peeling back the layers on who Ammachic is and explore my style evolution. Man, it's been a ride. To this day, folks that grew up with me must be flabbergasted that I am in fashion or associated with style in any way, shape, or form. I don't blame them; it was atrocious. There were a lot of jeans and club t-shirts (I repped Model UN SO HARD).

So I thought I'd create little films to share snippets of my journey. I want to share what inspires me, who moves me, things I love doing, and, of course, clothes! This is the first part of the Ammachic Style Diaries and it has been a labor of love.

A special thanks to the lovely Nigel with the brilliant eye and patience for the video magic, and the genius Soul Sister Arfana for blessing my face and hair and getting me as close to looking like Aishwaryia Rai as possible. To Nisha for opening up her home and being so gracious as I casually threw Chanel around her living room. To my creative soulmate Pooja for coming out with bronchitis to capture these moments. A girl has no words for how grateful I am. So here goes nothing:
